05 Feb Learning Online at work or home
Our courses are designed to be completed online, whether you are at work, at home, or anytime you would like depending on how you would like to access the course.
One key to ensuring you complete an online course, is to ensure that you set aside time every day, or every week at the least, by setting up your calendar. We strongly encourage you to set aside time in one hour blocks commensurate with the course you are completing. For example, some of the simple courses can be completed within 2-3 hours in one sitting, however, if you would like to complete every activity, we would recommend completing the course over a period of about 5-10 working days setting aside one hour per day. In contrast, some complex courses which would normally be 1-5 days of full time study may require you to set aside 3-5 hours per week over a period of 6-8 weeks to ensure you have time to complete your course.
Another very important point is to ensure you are distraction free. Distractions can be a major killer of productivity. This is one of the reasons we recommend completing our courses using headphones. It helps to zone out of your distracting environment, and concentrate on the online course.
